For a decade, he has been behind the camera shooting short films, music videos, documentaries, while also honing his skills as an editor and sound designer. Born and raised in Queens, New York, Marte found himself captivated by the world of film at a young age. Raised by a single mom who had immigrated from the Dominican Republic, movies and television provided an escape from the hardships he faced and an alternative to the trouble that youth often found themselves drawn to. Fueled by determination, he taught himself the skills of videography. Always practicing, learning, and gaining new insights, he built a practice that acts as a platform for helping others bring their stories out of the shadows. Today, collaboration is at the heart of his work. While embracing his distinct aesthetic, he is proud to bring together a cohort of the greatest minds and innovative thinkers along the way.

To date, Marte has been responsible for award-winning short films, music videos, and documentaries. He has worked with notable brands such as Reebok, Sony, Staple Pigeon, Remy Martin, and Bacardi. Musicians including John Legend, 24k golden, and liltjay have worked with him, as have prominent music festivals like Bonnaroo and Electric Forest.
